Tiny Glade was developed by Pounce Light, a two-person Swedish indie studio headed by Anastasia Opara and Tomasz Stachowiak, using a custom version of the Bevy game engine built in Rust. The game's first public trailer was released in January 2023. A free demo released in June 2024 as part of Steam's Next Fest received over 800,000 wishlists during its pre-release stage and became the fourth most-played and second most watchlisted demo in that event.
